MURTHER UNMASKED
May he his birthday rue, That striues for to subdue The Gospell pure and true in this our Nation.
15   God guide our gracious King
peacefully, peacefully: And at the last him bring
to ioyes eternall; Where he amongst the best Of Saints and Angels blest, May Hue in ioy and rest
time without ending.
16   So blesse our vertuous Queen
with this gift, with this gift: That still her Fruit be seene
mongst vs to flourish: As long as Cedars bud, And streames glide from the flood, So long her royall Blood
here sway the Scepter.
17   And powre on vs thy Grace
plenteously, plenteously, To mourne while we haue space
for sinnes committed: That when Death vs doth take And we this world forsake, We good account may make
at our last ending.
